Mrs. Pranami Sarmah

Brief Profile:
Mrs. Pranami Sarmah is presently associating with University School of Law & Research, USTM as an Assistant Professor of Law since 07 April, 2018. Her area of interests are- Constitutional Law, Indian Federalism, Jurisprudence, Right to Information etc. Previously she worked as an Advocate at Gauhati High Court for 2 years. She completed her LL.B from University Law College, Gauhati University in 2013 and LL.M from Gauhati University in 2016. She is specialized in Constitutional and Administrative Law. He also completed her M.A degree in Political Science in 2014 from IDOL, Gauhati university. She even accomplished certified course in GST. She participated and presented her papers in National Seminars. She wrote articles on " Protection of Child Rights" in the Assam Tribune also.

1. Participated and paper presented on the topic "Protection of Child Rights under the Juvenile Justice System" in the National Seminar on Child Rights in India: Issues and Challenges organised by the Department of Bengali, Digboi Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Digboi on 23rd & 24th January, 2019.
2. Participated and paper presented on the topic " Constitutional Safeguards to Indigenous People of Assam" in the National Seminar on Human Rights & Gender Justice: Issues, Perspectives and Challenges organised by the Department of Bengali, Digboi Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Digboi on 31st August & 1st September, 2019.
