Dear Students,
I congratulate you in making the right choice of enrolling in the University School of Law and Research (USLR), USTM for studying law. The University School of Law and Research, USTM is a prestigious name in legal education. School of Law has an unmatched array of courses and academic offerings. It focuses on the judicial temperament of its students and channelizes their suggestive powers to get well oriented towards the subjects.
The School of Law prepares the inquisitive minds and sharpens their visions in multifarious methods of a robustly designed pedagogy on Justice Education which is a perfect blend of ancient Indian Nyaya Shastra, modern Laws, Humanities and Social Science. To facilitate the study of law, we have made efforts to effectively combine the theory and practice of law. The classroom teaching is supported by moot courts, legal aid, legal literacy and legal research. Students are provided a plethora of opportunities to explore legal reasoning to the broader spectrum, encompassing practical skills and competency. Students have an opportunity to pursue a broad curriculum using rich educational resources in a dynamic and creative learning environment of Justice Education. The curriculum is constantly revised according to the changing legal and other environmental developments. The teaching methodologies employed are multimodal and aid in enhancing skills which are indispensable to the curriculum. In our untiring efforts to produce legal excellence, no stone is left unturned. Every aspect of society – political, social, economic, cultural, environmental, which call for legal reforms are duly addressed and discussed upon. The faculties are dedicated and guide the students in understanding drafts released by the Government. Thereon, group discussions take place and suggestions are drawn.
Our ultimate objective is to build the University School of Law and Research as a legal laboratory and a hub for excellence in research encouraging and developing original thinking, critical reasoning and invention of new concepts of justice throughout the course. All our initiatives are a living proof of our commitment to every student’s success in their career.
